Dowtherm vaporisers uses high temperature thermic fluid ( eg. Therminol VP1, Dowtherm A etc.) which vaporises at high temperature and can be used as heat transfer media in vapour phase. Ideal for temperature range between 300 - 400 deg.C. In this range steam pressure required is too high and standard liquid phase thermic fluid system has a limited operating range. Vapour phase system also operates at constant temperature.
